The home of Monica and Even by Ikea Family

The interior of our first cabin was modern with a Swedish touch (read: Ikea combined with a lot of wood). The Scandinavian interior style is one that I really like. In december this Norwegian house was posted by Ikea Family Live Magazine. For more photo's, visit their website.

'Monica lives with her husband Even and their children Ludvig Thomas, 5, and Milla Karlotte, 4, in a 120-year-old house in Norway. It was the home of the first midwife in the village, then a local shop, before a motorcycle club took it over in the ’80s and made it their own – or wrecked it, depending on your view! After 18 months of hard work, Monica and Even have created a warm home where vintage pieces with a personal connection are mixed with new things. Monica calls it “creative with a sense of humour” – and when you visit, it really does feel like this house twinkles from the inside out.’ - Ikea Family Live Magazine
